This policy explains how we research, write, source, and correct content. It applies to every page on this site.
Sourcing standard
Every health or efficacy statement must trace to a source that supports that exact point. We prefer peer-reviewed veterinary literature and authoritative bodies (for example the Merck Veterinary Manual, VCA, ASPCA, and the FDA). We separate four things that are easy to blur: evidence for melatonin in one supervised setting; evidence for an ingredient in a different product or dose; evidence for a specific finished formula; and plain label facts, which describe contents but do not prove outcomes.
Claims we will not make
We do not write “clinically proven,” “vet approved,” “works better,” or “best overall” without direct documentation. We do not turn a perioperative or pre-visit study into proof that a retail product treats everyday anxiety or insomnia. We do not publish an invented dosage schedule.
Commercial content and ownership
This site is owned by Pure Majesty Pets. Our ownership disclosure appears on commercial pages. We use an ownership disclosure rather than an affiliate disclosure because the publisher and the product share an owner.
Accuracy and updates
Product labels change. We date-stamp reviews and re-check labels on update. When we get something wrong, we fix it under our corrections policy and note material changes.
